LEOT VISITS OCK POP TOK

Today we took the beginner class from LEOT to visit “Ock Pop Tok” (http://www.ockpoptok.com/), meaning “East meets West”.
They met at Vat Muena at 10 a.m. – “falang time” – meaning at 10 a.m. and not at 10:15 a.m. ;and they were actually all present when she got there at 9:55 a.m. The students without a motorbike got on a Tuk Tuk and the rest of us drove on our motorbikes.
“Ock Pop Tok” is located about 10 minutes outside of town, just past Phousi Market, and situated in a beautiful tropical garden along to the Mekong River.
Madame Vone, working at “Ock Pop Tok” lead the 13 students around the center. She explained everything in Lao, patiently answered all their questions and the students diligently took notes as, yes, their homework will be to write and present a report on Friday in class
